EKO GEL
Gel for ultrasound examinations

πŸ“– Description

Since it is practically impossible to conduct ultrasound into the human body through air, ultrasound gel is used to create good contact between the ultrasound sensor-emitter and the patient's skin. Ultrasound gels are jelly-like compositions of various colors and odors, which are absolutely safe, do not cause allergic reactions, are easily washed off and do not leave stains on clothes.

🎯 Used

As a contact substance in ultrasound diagnostics.

πŸ–οΈ How to use

Clean and degrease the patient's skin. Apply the required amount of gel in a thin layer directly into the patient's skin. After completing the ultrasound examination, wipe off any remaining gel from the patient's skin or the sensor with a paper or cotton cloth moistened with water. If signs of irritation appear on the patient's hypersensitive skin, discontinue use of the gel.

⚠️ Caution: Gel for external use only, non-sterile. Do not use on skin damaged by scratches, erythema or wounds. Close the plate, sachet after each use. If in contact with eyes, it may cause irritation, so rinse quickly with water. Doctors with sensitive skin are recommended to wear protective gloves during use.
